LibertyFest in Edmond, Oklahoma was selected as one of the top 10 places to be in America on 4th of July weekend with 11 Family Friendly Events! Spectators line the 1.5-mile Parade route in downtown Edmond to watch the greatest parade in Oklahoma on July 3rd. Bands, floats, marching groups, antique cars, clowns, round-up clubs, Shriners and more provide color and excitement to our annual parade. No general meeting for July, but we will have an ice cream social on Tues, July 20th from 6:00-8:00 pm at Mitch Park large pavilion! We’ll have ice creams/toppings, cookies, lemonade, and bottled water. There’s a playground for kids, plenty of covering for staying out of the sun, and restrooms are available in the pavilion. The July meeting will be held at The Hugs Project for a packing party. The director, Karen Stark, has arranged for a private party to pack boxes to send to the troops. Please start shopping now for items to take and pack. You can refer to the list below. These boxes mean so much to our service members, so they know they are not forgotten.
