  NOTE FROM OUR FRIENDS AT FREDERICK DOUGLASS REPUBLICAN WOMEN'S CLUB Juneteenth is distinctly a Texas celebration and yet Republicans should celebrate the fact that our Party was founded on the principle of eliminating slavery in these United States of America! Juneteenth happened because our first Republican President, Abraham Lincoln, had the audacity to sign the Emancipation Proclamation.   Celebrate with the Frederick Douglass Republican Women’s Club!
