State Auditor Cindy Byrd will discuss the divisions of the State Auditor’s office and the various types of government audits the State Auditor’s office performs that are vital to the accountability of our taxpayer dollars.

She will highlight the recent audit requests which include: the State Department of Education, Tulsa Public Schools, Epic Charter Schools, Department of Tourism and the Commission of the Land Office.

Through these audit examples, we will learn how to weed through the politics in order to hold government accountable to be good stewards of our tax dollars.
