Heartland RWC Meeting

The July meeting will be held at The Hugs Project for a packing party. The director, Karen Stark, has arranged for a private party to pack boxes to send to the troops. Please start shopping now for items to take and pack. You can refer to the list below. These boxes mean so much to our service members, so they know they are not forgotten. Let’s bless our military who are under so much pressure.

Suggested items are: hard candy (no chocolate), non-perishable foods, such as jerky, Vienna sausages, individually wrapped cookies, peanut butter crackers, puzzle books, small (hotel-size) personal hygiene items, etc. The troops have requested condiments; please save packets of ketchup and mustard, such as the ones you get at a fast-food restaurant. They also need lip balm, something essential in the hot climates where they are stationed
