Estela Hernandez, recently elected Vice-Chairman of the Republican Party of Oklahoma, was featured as a GOP Rising Star at the Republican National Committee (RNC) spring meeting in Phoenix. Hernandez is a proud Federated woman – Chairman of the Community Engagement Committee for the Oklahoma Federation of Republican Women (OFRW) – and proud Republican. When asked how dare she, as a woman, be a Republican, her response is “How dare I not be a Republican,” noting how the Republicans are on the right side of the issues affecting her daily life. An advocate for involving all Americans in the political process, she credits the NFRW and OFRW for their outreach efforts.
