Oklahomans are invited to celebrate with Governor and First Lady Stitt at the annual Boots, Bandanas and Barbecue benefit event at the Oklahoma Governor’s Mansion from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sep. 2.
The annual Boots, Bandanas and Barbecue event is a memorable night for Oklahomans to enjoy the people’s home with delicious food, great music and good company. The event helps support the upkeep and presentation of the historic Governor’s Mansion grounds for years to come.
Tickets to the evening event are $50 per person. All proceeds from the event will benefit Friends of the Mansion, a non-profit organization that strives to ensure the preservation and upkeep of the Oklahoma Governor’s Mansion for Oklahomans now and forever.
Masks and hand sanitizer will be provided at the door. The use of both will be highly recommended throughout the event. To do our part to ensure social distancing is practiced, we will be allowing less people at each table than in years past. Thank you for your participation, we look forward to a fun and safe event.
The Friends of the Mansion organization is led by Chair First Lady Sarah Stitt and Board President James Pickel. The organization is also counseled by a group of advisors consisting of four former Oklahoma First Ladies, Former First Gentleman Wade Christensen and numerous other community leaders.
Attire for Boots, Bandanas and Barbecue is business casual. Guests will enjoy barbeque catered by Head Country Barbeque, great music, networking opportunities and special guests. Friends of the Mansion society members will receive free admission.
