Networking starts at 10:30AM and program kicks off at 11AM.\n\n\n\n\nRick Dearborn\, featured speaker “ADVANCING A CONSERVATIVE AGENDA”\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIt is not enough for conservatives to win elections. If we are going to rescue the\ncountry from the grip of the radical Left\, we need both a governing agenda and the\nright people in place\, ready to carry this agenda out on Day One of the next conservative Administration. \n“Put conservatives in who can also figure out how to run our government and\nadvance a conservative agenda” \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Rick Dearborn\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFrom January of 2017 until mid-March of 2018\, Mr. Dearborn served The President of the United States as his Deputy Chief of Staff. Mr. Dearborn was responsible for the day-to-day operations of ~100 staff in five separate Executive Office of the President (EOP) departments \nThree days after the 2016 election\, President-Elect Trump tapped Vice President-elect Mike Pence to serve as Chairman of the Presidential Transition Team and asked Mr. Dearborn to serve as the Executive Director. Daily responsibility included the direction and management of the core components of the Transition Team’s 600+ members. \nPrior to leading the President’s Transition team\, Mr. Dearborn had served for twelve years from 2005 until January of 2017 as Chief of Staff to then U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions. \nHe served Senator Sessions for a total of eighteen and a half years having been originally hired as the Senator’s Legislative Director in 1997. \nIn 2003\, between serving as Senator Sessions’ Legislative Director and Chief of Staff\, Mr. Dearborn was nominated by President George W. Bush and confirmed by the U.S. Senate to become the Assistant Secretary of Energy for Congressional Affairs\, where he worked with the Senate\, House and Tribal Governments on the President’s Energy agenda. \nPrior employment has included working at the National Republican Senatorial Committee for Sens. Rudy Boschwitz and Don Nickles\, The Heritage Foundation\, where he was Director of Congressional Relations\, and lobbying for the American Medical Association. He has served in Senate Leadership Offices as well\, for Senators Trent Lott and Bob Kasten on the Senate Republican Conference\, and Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison as Executive Director of the Senate Steering Committee.

The Ordinance levies an additional excise tax of 3.75 percent upon the gross proceeds or gross receipts derived from all rent for every occupancy of a room or rooms in a hotel in this City and earmarks the tax revenues exclusively for encouraging\, promoting\, and/or fostering the convention and/or tourism (visitor) development of the City by the following expenditures of said revenues: 75.0 percent shall be expended for any projects\, items\, costs and/or expenses that encourage\, promote and/or foster the convention and/or tourism (visitor) development; 13.3 percent shall be expended for the sponsorship and/or promotion of events recommended by the Oklahoma City Convention and Visitors Commission and anticipated to enhance the local economy through increased convention and/or tourism (visitor) activity; 6.7 percent shall be expended for improvements to the Oklahoma City Fairgrounds\, not including operational costs; and 5.0 percent shall be expended for improvements to the Oklahoma City Convention Center\, not including operational costs. The tax becomes effective at 12:00 am on October 1\, 2024. \nPRECINCT ELECTIONS\nWe have several precincts with Precinct Committee vacancies (Precinct officers – Chair\, Vice Chair\, Secretary and Treasurer).
