DESCRIPTION:The January kick-off meeting will be a very interesting one. Our speaker is Wes Bledsoe\, Founder and CEO of Victims’ Action Center located right here in Oklahoma City. He will be addressing the systematic failures by Oklahoma’s Nursing Home Industry and State oversight agencies. \nFor example\, the financial crisis and closure of The City of Pauls Valley’s hospital led to the question: Why does the City of Pauls Valley own 28 nursing homes across the State of Oklahoma? On January 22\, 2019\, they are conducting a statewide Town Hall Meeting to discuss The Crisis And Bridge Too Far\, Oklahoma’s Nursing Home Fiasco. This will be held at Metro Tech’s auditorium located at 1900 Springlake Drive in OKC. \nWes will be at our meeting at 9:30 and will stay around afterwards to answer any questions.
