SUMMARY:OKCRWC March General Meeting
DESCRIPTION:10:30 AM Networking with mini muffins and coffee/tea\n11:00 AM Meeting \nFeatured Speaker: Carol Davis\, Election Protection Initiative Director\, FreedomWorks \nPlease RSVP for members and their invited guests one of 3 ways: \n\nPut “Going” on the event post for this meeting on our private Facebook group – https://www.facebook.com/events/\nCall or text 405-397-4257\nEmail news@okcrwc.org\n\n \nCarol Davis was recently brought on as FreedomWorks Election Protection Initiative Director to travel and train activists across the nation on the importance of being involved in the ins and outs of our election system and engage them on the rules and regulations at both the state and local level. Carol has been an election officer herself and as a FreedomWorks ambassador\, she is involved specifically in her local elections and legislative efforts for election protection in Illinois. Her grassroots organizing is unmatched and will be key in gaining momentum for voting integrity laws now not just in Illinois\, but in states across the country. \nFreedomWorks exists to build\, educate\, and mobilize the largest network of activists advocating the principles of smaller government\, lower taxes\, free markets\, personal liberty and the rule of law. They are the largest grassroots organization in the nation with over 6 million activists. \nIn the fall of 2020\, FreedomWorks established its Election Protection Initiative with the goal of training its activists to become involved in the election process. They work to restore confidence in elections by advocating for state-level election integrity legislation; registering new voters\, and involving our activists directly as elections officers. Throughout 2021 and 2022\, FreedomWorks will host activists at events throughout the country\, training them on election integrity best practices and equipping them to serve as officers of elections and as poll workers and watchers. By the time the next election cycle rolls around\, our community’s confidence in elections will be restored. \nGrassroots activists like Carol are the backbone of the liberty movement. We are excited to welcome Carol to Oklahoma City and hear how we can make sure our Oklahoma elections maintain integrity at the local and state level. \n

SUMMARY:OKCRWC August General Meeting featuring Julianne Romanello
DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars for Tuesday\, August 2nd to hear our featured Speaker\, Julianne Romanello\, Ph.D Independent Scholar and Reporter. She’ll give us an overview of what is going on with the substitution of Corporate Governance (Inclusive Capitalism aka “Communism”) for Representative Government. She will discuss the impact investing/Environmental\, social\, and governance (ESG)\, the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) effort to reformulate the definition of a corporation\, the trouble with P3s – especially for education and fiscal responsibility – and social credit scoring relevant to Oklahomans. \nWe’ll have networking at 10:30AM with complimentary muffins\, coffee\, and tea. Meeting starts at 11AM. Open to our members and their guests. Please invite your like-minded conservative friends. See you there! \nPlease RSVP on Facebook or text or call the club at 405-397-4257. \nThank you to our meeting sponsor\, OKCRWC Centennial Member\, Ginger Sloan and Encore Professional Medical Services. \n \nAbout Julianne Romanello\nJulianne Romanello is a mother of four and an independent scholar whose academic research interests include the life and writings of Eric Voegelin\, Plato\, and Kierkegaard. She has taught at several colleges and universities near her hometown of Tulsa\, Oklahoma\, most recently at the University of Tulsa\, which was restructured in 2019. Since then\, Julianne’s research has\nfocused on the corporate takeover of higher education and the development of the “P20 pipeline” in order to advance the globalist agenda of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. She has appeared on international radio and podcasts\, maintains an active social media presence\, and proudly boasts having been blocked from the WEF Facebook page. SUMMARY:LARA LOGAN America vs Socialism
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an incredible evening with award-winning journalist\, Lara Logan. This event is open to members and their invited guests. Members $75 and Non-members $95. Make reservations early. Room capacity is 300. \nhttps://unitedtalent.app.box.com/v/LaraLoganReel \n \nAbout Lara Logan \nLara Logan’s candid  reporting\, often from the most dangerous places in the world\, has earned her a prominent place among the world’s best foreign correspondents. \nIn her role at 60 Minutes\, Logan helped us understand the political and human conflicts around the world\, including Pakistan\, Iraq\, Afghanistan\, Israel and Palestine\, and Egypt. \nCommitted to the story\, she lived in Iraq for five years at the height of the violence. She was one of the few journalists in Baghdad when the U.S. Military entered the city\, reporting live in the square as the statue of Sadam fell. Logan has earned almost every journalistic and reporting award\, among them are the highly prestigious duPont-Columbia University Silver Baton\, the Overseas Press Club\, the Emmys and the RTNDA/ Edward R. Murrow Award – to name a few. \nHer fearless determination to get the story from its vortex\, no matter how dangerous\, has often put Logan herself in great danger. In Tahrir Square in Egypt\, she came close to death when she was sexually assaulted by a mob while reporting for 60 Minutes on the Arab Spring. \nA journalist who heads straight into hostile places not for spectacle\, but for the sake of our understanding the real issues of our time\, Logan is an insightful interpreter of international current events and a fearless interviewer asking tough questions of today’s most powerful people. \nToday she has a successful long-form\, investigative TV series that takes on significant topics with an open mind and an open heart – the way journalism is supposed to be done. It’s called “Lara Logan Has No Agenda” and is broadcast on Fox Nation. The series has taken her deep into subjects like immigration and the south west border\, socialism\, media\, veterans and so on. \nYou will often see Lara on various news programs and prime time Fox shows where she is a sought-after voice to comment on topics ranging from national security to terrorism\, journalism\, foreign affairs and so on.

SUMMARY:September Event "America First" Featuring Kari Lake
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an incredible evening with Kari Lake\, former news anchor and political candidate who was the Republican nominee in the 2022 Arizona gubernatorial election. This event is open to members and their invited guests. \nAn unmatched champion for the America First movement\, Kari Lake in her first book\, Unafraid: Just Getting Started\, outlines her journey from being the most beloved newscaster and broadcast journalist in Arizona to the leader of the largest grassroots movement in Arizona’s history. Your ticket includes a signed copy of her newly released book. \nAbout Kari Lake\nThe daughter of a teacher and a nurse\, Kari Lake grew up in Iowa alongside her eight siblings where she learned the value of a hard day’s work. Fascinated with people’s stories\, Kari pursued a career in the news industry where she would become a symbol of truth in journalism when she rejected the agenda-driven press and walked away from the mainstream media after a highly successful 27 years. In 2022\, Kari ran for Governor of Arizona with the endorsement of President Donald J. Trump on a platform of putting Arizona First. Kari believes in secure borders\, energy independence\, safe streets\, education not indoctrination\, and pushing back against the radical Biden agenda. Kari Lake is a voice for the silent majority and fights back against the relentless assault on our freedoms by the radical left.  \n
